Special Advanced Nurse Aide Training Opportunity

Hawaii Medical College is pleased to partner with ALU LIKE, Inc. to offer a specially supported cohort of HMC’s 10-week Advanced Nurse Aide (ANA) program.

Through this collaboration, ALU LIKE is supporting a dedicated cohort of up to 12 participants. Selected participants will have a remaining program balance of only $435. Hawaii Medical College offers a no-interest payment plan to help participants manage this balance.

The Advanced Nurse Aide program combines classroom instruction, hands-on training, and practical experience in essential patient care skills. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to take the Hawaii Nurse Aide Competency Examination to become a Certified Nurse Aide.

The program is designed for individuals interested in beginning a healthcare career and preparing for employment in care homes, assisted living communities, home care agencies, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.

Enrollment in the supported cohort is subject to program admission requirements, applicable eligibility requirements, available space, and final selection. Certification and employment are the goals.  Note, individual results may vary based on student commitment, effort, and focus. Completion of the program does not guarantee certification or employment.
